Studying Ecotourism @ SWUIC

S__15212656.jpg

SWUIC-HTM Ecotourism Program applied this concept of ecotourism to act as tool for
wildlife conservation management. Ecotourism offers an incredible opportunity for communities
around the world to replace the income generated by poaching with income from hosting
travelers. The benefit of successful wildlife conservation management can create anonymous
benefits for the human being. Human health and the health of our environment are inextricably
linked. Our collective resilience, well-being, nutrition, and ability to avert disease is fully
connected to the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the ways we interact
with nature.
Knowledge of SWUIC-HTM ecotourism can be used as the strength for applying to all jobs
related to the hospitality and tourism industries and other areas of sustainability.
